When classic hits PD and TV news babes collide

OK, now it's not letting me see the story without answering questions first.

The news directory should get hypocrite of the month. TV stations hire stand-up Barbies (and Kens) for looks and then this guy gets indignant when somebody points this out. Notice how many women get into TV news from beau... I mean scholarship competitions.

Good point, Fred!

It would be safe to assume that all these 'candidates' (who are so upset and think this is sexist and demeaning) will be checking the stations website later this week for the results. "I think it's abominable....did I win?" ;D

WABI-TV’s Carolyn Callahan is the winner! Over 6,500 votes from 45 states and 14 countries.

This 'contest' apparently went over well, despite some of the objections. Next up: "Maine's Studliest Newsman?"

I nominate George Hale.
