When Did Austin Leave WSRS-FM?

A couple of quick questions...I've been away for a while and just now
discovering that the former 'Austin of Boston' is gone
from his morning gig at WSRS-FM in Worcester. What happened
and how long ago? And where is he now?...Thanks...

It was during the summer. Maybe no more than a couple of months. He's weekending at B101 in Providence. I didn't hear that much of him on WSRS but always thought he would be a better fit for an oldies,classic hits,or classic rock station. He doesn't have that pleasant smiley AC style which by the way I mean as a compliment.

I believe that it was the second or third week in August. At the end of a show, Austin and his co-host were abruptly fired from the top-rated morning show in Worcester. He'd been there for quite a while and went through a few co-hosts (Austin and Lynne, Austin and Sarah, Austin and Lisa (Butts), Austin and Kerry).

It's so far unclear if it was a bout with management or a cost-cutting move, but Austin is, as Jock Itch commented, weekending at WWBB-FM in Providence.
