When did KXRX go Country?

KXRX officially flipped to Young Country on July 1, 1994, after a computerized voice couted down from 40,000 (that started at 5:30PM on 6/29, counting down to 1, then counted back up, then back down....this according to an article from Seattle Weekly 7/20/1994)......before they they were stunting with a wacky, comedy-type format.....still have an aircheck of that somewhere.....hope this helps out

Much obliged. Thanks! If you do find that aircheck, could you post that to the "Airchecks" page?
