When did that happen

Can someone tell me when Champ changed formats to an active rock sounding station? I guess I haven't paid attention since I listen to XM now.
 
When I was up there at Thanksgiving, I was surprised by the number of post-1990 tracks I heard on that station. Green Day's "Longview" is one thing, but Evanescence's "Call Me When You're Sober" does not at all strike me as a record that many people in Burlington would care about.
 
I don't know if the format works or not, but how many stations can you have in a small market like Burlington that basically mines the same tired rock songs from the 70s and 80s?
