What's everyone's opinions of the wave of public bashings by radio, & probably all media, people? I read the responses about Steve Kass leaving WSAR and stating he couldn't stand the management. He may not be a good example as I doubt that he needs any radio station. Now there's a thread on the Boston board about quitting WEEI and publicly slamming Entercom. I've personally seen other examples of it, some more subdued & some just as blatant, on social media. Doesn't this hurt anyone's career anymore? Does anything hurt anyone's career anymore? I can't think of anyone I've worked with that I disliked enough personally or professionally to openly criticize. As far as people I've worked for there's probably only one person I can honestly say made it his mission to make life miserable for those under him & even if his name came up, I would restrain myself & not comment. Maybe it's me but if I were in a radio hiring position I wouldn't touch anyone with a history of getting on a public soap box anytime things didn't go his way. When did radio people stop grinning & bearing it?
