When did WMMR start playing infomercials on Saturday morning?

Is John Clay Wolfe a barter show?

His show briefly aired in my market a few years ago but was yanked after maybe a three to six month run. It has now reappeared on that same station. I wonder if he was actually paying for the airtime during his prior run?

I remember WWDB doing this in their final years although they tried to be a little more clever with it. They would have their talk hosts bring on a “guest” however said “guests” were there buying time in order to hawk whatever products they were trying to sell.

Other than Sounds of Sinatra and the Ted Cruz show, I see lots of paid programming. Which is what I said.

You yourself are one of the posters who have complained about the amount of weekend paid programming on AM talk radio. Did you forget?

Actually what you said was:

Maybe a break for Sounds of Sinatra., But other than that, it's ALL paid programming for the entire weekend.

But, as I said, that's not true:
  • Sounds of Sinatra
  • Ted Cruz
  • Tom Azelby
  • Barry Sable & Friends
  • Readin' Writin' and Reason with Dom Goirdano
  • Sterling Every Damn Sunday
  • Kathy Barnette
  • Gary R'nel
  • also some "rewinds"
My post was NOT a complaint ... just going for accuracy.
