When Clear Channel owns it.
The Dog+Power=Sunny 12+.
Is there another market in the country that can "boast" two 50,000 watt stations performing as badly?

Math Genius

Cheap Channel has a habit of acquiring successful legacy radio stations, then cutting them to the bone. They keep just enough of the shell to hang onto the average listener, and try to increase revenue by cutting expenses.

Underperforming properties are often relegated to the role of flanker to protect the money-makers, or as spoilers to steal a couple of shares from a competitor. CC seems to overlook the advantages of building a viable station that can compete for ad dollars. It's easier and cheaper to throw VT/syndicated schlock on the air, especially in smaller markets.

I know

When Galaxy's WRCZ = <2....for several books in a row.

I would love to see more of your big mouth on the Hudson Valley board. Given your performance in the largest market you operate in, we understand why you do not visit more.

I have thought the same thing myself, at least 1.4 times before....
