Rumors are afoot that the morning team is in place and a few other talents have been named as likely canditates to crack the airwaves. I am not at liberty to say who I have been told will be jumping on-board, but it sounds exciting if the rumors are true. I'm looking forward to an exciting airstaff. My guess is the only former DJ's from the old B 94 that are coming back are Dave Cook, Bubba and Ron Man. Whether the rest of the staff is from Pittsburgh or out of town is anyone's guess.
This is all speculation from me and I could be totally wrong.

The Ron Man was listed to be at a remote on B's website last week. Anybody think Gab will/should be on?
Shelly has not been on the air at KD since the B94 flip. Its all but certain that she'll be back in Foster Plaza sooner than later.
They might hold off on the next phase of B94 until much closer to Christmas. CBS can't seem to shake loose any $$ right now for a promotion budget since they wrote all of the checks to make the old format go away.
Scartch John from the John Dave Bubba Shelly reunion. Seems he and Keith didn't leave anything unsaid in their parting.

Hey Shilton,
Any news about a PD? It seems that if they're looking at airstaff, the PD issue has been decided. I'm assuming that the posting for the PD position was a front for EEO purposes and the exciting team of Keith Clark and Ryan Mill will be running the show. You know, they have an excellent track record...

My friends in the know have dropped some names as far as air staff goes, but not a word about a PD but you are correct...if they are looking at air talent it would be safe to assume that a PD has been selected and it waiting in the wings unless they are going to continue to program it from afar. A lot of the other forums on this board are geared more for what is really going on in radio, as they do have posters who really are in the know. Not those who think they are and have to get their ego stroked by claiming they are.

To get back on task here, would you say that it's out of the question that CBS would go with some of it's "untapped" talent from it's other fm's. Someone like Heather Meyers and Mike McDaniel from Y108 or Jason Bradley from Star?
The younger talent pool might be a good fit for the new "B"....

I agree, I'm sure they'd love to slide into a full-time gig. In other news, I heard through the grapevine that Nik Delgreco (Paulsen's producer on The Zone) got hired as B's promotions director.
