when does Luis Jimenez start on 105.9

WSKQ has been able to hold pretty stready since Jimenez left at the end of 2006 but how will his resurfacing on WCAA play out? Jimenez has not performed well across the country for Univision so it will be interesting to see how well he does back in NY.

I guess the $5,000,000 a year deal doesn't look like such a good deal for Univision up to now. What are the expectations for Jimenez on WCAA?

Sometimes I wonder if Jimenez jumping ship to Univision Radio was a smart move. He had a sweet thing going on at SBS. Now he's a zero. I wonder who in New York City remembers him after a year of being off the local airwaves. El Vacilon is trucking along fine without him and Moon, it seems.

I remember reading in one of the radio websites that Jimenez got suspended by Univision for insulting lesbians or something like that? Come on, he was doing this at SBS all along, poking fun at gays. He's a shock jock - he would make fun of everything and everyone. That's what made El Vacilon fun to listen to.

That's what you HIRED him to be -- a shock-jock morning motormouth. So the man goes ahead and does his job and he gets into trouble with his employer? What the f--- chuck? ???
