When fcc going to get rid of E/I programming as a fededal law?

Never. Because the FCC can't repeal federal laws, only Congress can do that...

_________________________________________________

The FCC can ask Congress to change the law.

In this particular case I don't see that happening. No legislator is going to risk having his opponent (or more likely, some 3rd-party PAC) running ads "Congressman John Doe believes children shouldn't see educational programs on TV. Vote for Ethel Smith!".

Maybe Fox could share 'TWIB' with My Network TV. And bring back 'NFL Under The Helmet' while they're at it...
