Also does anyone know what will happen with 770 Freq. when WVNN is established on 92.5.

I am willing to bet that 100.3 will actually go classic hits as 100.3 The River. They just picked up the WQRV call letters.

And although I have pathetically little knowledge of the Huntsville market, I doubt anything is going to change on news talker 770...they'll just simply have an FM simulcast, likely changing to WVNN-FM.

There'd be almost nothing to gain with a new format there, and you've already got the audience you do have listening on 770 anyway.
______________

looks like it might not be too far off, 100.3 is off the air now, I'm actually hearing splatter from WRAX (thats a first) on 100.3, and absolutely nothing with the antenna pointed to tuscumbia

A source very close to the situation tells me that WQRV is a temorary call letter asignment just so WLAY calls can be moved to the new frequency in the shoals and they can wait on the WWXQ call letters to be freed after the sale.
SO, KOOL will live on with no changes.

even if it were to go the other way, it would most likely not be classic hits. Being that it's so close to classic rock, which would somewhat compete with WTAK. CC may do some dumb things, but not as dumb as the things cox does.
______________

Not on this one. I just saw the KOOL logo reworked. The 92/94 was replaced with 100.3. Same blue background on frequncies. There is a printer in town doing their all printing.. Looks good! But nothing new.. Just more power.. new home.. Etc Etc,..
