Well KCBS FM is in it's testing stages on streaming, but no word yet if K-Earth 101 will be streaming online, I guess we stay tuned for more information.

don't know...but I found out KLOS has a stream set up, but it is only for M and B. I know most of the ABC stations are streaming now.

Never mind that ...
When are the HD-2 radio stations going to start streaming? Since Jack and K-Earth are practically everywhere, I'd rather hear the secret signals.

I'd be willing to bet it will be a year or more before the HD-2 streams go on the Net, given that all the players are focusing on getting over-the-air HD-2 listening.

Actually I thought it was a great hire and was defintitely looking forward to his influence. Both KNX and KFWB were sounding tired and stale and definitely needed some serious upgrading. I really thought he would bring a more Fox-like attitude to one or both of the stations, giving them an edge that they never had while possibly attracting some of the younger male demos he brought to KFI. I also thought it was obvious that one should remain a core news station while the other one should be steered to a more news/talk approach.
Well so much for those expectations. Instead of those changes, we get cooking shows, incessant banter, more replays of the same stories, a total wrecking ball taken to the clock and traffic reports that are 4-5 minutes separated, reporting the same accidents on freeways that I'm not on. And the fawning press and laradio.com talk about what a genius he is for expanding the noontime business hour while completely ignoring the ratings fall-out.
Amazing.

"One" would be the key word there. I see "ones" of people looking to log on.
I thought there was supposed to be this big advertising campaign? There couldn't be any less buzz about this then there is.

Hope they are using something other than Mozilla Firefox, because the CC HD streams won't open in that browser (and I won't go back to using IE just for this).<P ID="signature">______________

Well fidelity-wise the HD radios I'm sure sound like FM (cause it is!) but the streams from CCU are at 32kbps fair but not what most ppl want I would presume. I do listen though at work because its OK as background music.
I like the Americana channel from Dallas (KZPS-FM) and the oldies station in Tulsa (KQLL-FM "Kool Chrome")

I thought the CC HD channels were each 48 k. Some station may give 32 k to the HD2 for the moment, and 64 to the digital version of the analog channel, but there are many ways to split it.
