I'm just saying...there should be a stunt any day now. Since they don't offer anything new or innovative...You certainly can't count on Purdy to lead them to success so I figure they will just stick to the same old thing.

You guys are unbelieveable!! Things must be slow if you are worried when KVIL is going to play Christmas Music!! They are bad now!!! Why not talk about how bad Mix or the Twister or the Bone is. That' worth taking about. Oh, Christmas Music will start November 1st.

Thank you VDV, I am hoping to win you over...I have turned over a new leaf...Speaking of which, Robert, you have been livin down there on the low road for quite some time...I will continue to take the high road and hope you mature in time..but, to answer your question, I am doing it. I have no power to change K-VILE's programming, but I can call them out.
With any luck, someone reading this post knows Purdy or Henry and will tell them that they have become so predictable that people are guessing when they are going to pull the same ole' holiday stunt. November 1 is gone, so I am going to say they pull it out the Monday before Thanksgiving...That gives the geniuses at Mix...er radio...um, the new 102.7 to beat them to the punch with their version of guitar and pop holiday tunes...

OK Talk I believe we have aired out our differences. It's fair to disagree, but if you disagree with someone around here (anyone), you can stay on the high road by stating your reasoning and keeping the personal attacks at bay.

ANYWAY, Lite is Lite 10 months out of the year. There isn't a person outside of the cubicles inside "Lite FM" that calls 103.7 "lite" during Christmas. That is one "sub brand" that will live forever in this market. Oh, about November 1st. You know, KLTY is now in a contest with KVIL for ratings...er...ringing in the holiday cheer with "who can beat who to Christmas marathons". I have inside baseball on KLTY that says Nov. 1 is possible.
And that friends, is commercial radio at its best.
