When Matt Drudge visits Las Vegas he listens to...

720 K-DAWN! Tonight Matt Drudge mentioned while in Las Vegas today he spent four hours listening to local talk radio. He said he listened to a competing station from the one that airs his show (KXNT). While he didn't mention KDWN by name, he said for the entire 4 hours every call was about the subject of illegal immigration. Gee I wonder what station he had on? lol
Drudge seemed to be influenced by the KDWN callers and host. He expressed worry that illegal immigration could ruin Las Vegas.

KDWN's freakish lineup is at least different enough from the norm to stand out on the dial in the bland universe of syndicated talk radio.

You said it well. I can understand why Drudge listened to KDWN instead of the syndicated medical and financial shows his Vegas affiliate was running on Sunday afternoon.

I guess kdwn is more cutting edge than knxt...remember when kxnt was making national news with the anthrax story lou epton was dealing with...Sam Greenfield ...and others now its happy talk and canned synicrap all the way...

It's cool in the way that your 85-year-old raving grandpa in a nursing home
who drools and spouts conspiracy talk, is more cool than your buttoned-down,
mainstream conservative, 50-year-old father.

Seems like KXNT did very well in the fall book. They must be doing something right.
