When the deal is finalized does anyone think hubbard will flip anyones format

The only station I could potentially see flipping is 97.3. PPM has been very good to the other Bonneville stations. While I suppose it's possible you could see a tweak or two, I doubt you'll see the big three of that cluster make any radical changes.

Format change junkies will be disappointed. The management of the Bonneville Group is coming over with the stations. This sale has little to do with operations at the local level.

I don't think WYGY is going to flip anytime soon if you're suggesting any more than another frequency change for the Wolf format. They'd be risking opening up B105 if they blew up Wolf completely. Remember, the Wolf format is flanking B105.

Q: Not likely any significant change is made with that format. It's the longest lasting CHR in town. If it works, don't mess with it. Q is consistently in the top 10 in PPM. No sense in blowing that up.

B: Again, same reasoning as Q. Not likely to flip.

Rewind: It's found a bit of a niche. It's on a strong signal at 94.9. I can't see Hubbard flipping this, at least not in 2011.

In short, I don't believe Hubbard is gonna mess with anything short term. Longer term? It's possible Rewind could be blown up in 2012.

Bruce Reese, Greg Solk of Bonneville (the two corporate heads) are going to Hubbard along with the stations. Doubtful they would blow up what they built.
