When the Hell is COX going to start carrying WPRI's "COOL-TV"

I would guess there's some sort of dispute between COX and COOL TV. In Connecticut they don't carry COOL-TV either which is on LIN TV's WCTX 59.2 and I've never seen WCTX - MY TV 9 promote COOL TV.

Verizon is carrying it in RI.For those of you who can get it. (I cant even get it ota). Are they localizing it at all in Providence or CT. I thought it was formatated to localize it.Are WPRI and WCTX just running a so called national feed and arent ready to go full blown yet?

COX doesn't even have MyRI HD, and that's been on well over a year now...

So I am not holding my hopes for CoolTV. Thank god my next place will have FiOS. =)

(I watch it CoolTV currently over the air anyways...)

What's so *cool* about COOL-TV? Just curious as to what the hype is about, as this isn't offered in my area....

Nothing Cool about it in my book...hodge podge of music...no format...kinda of old MTV but all over the place.

It's pretty good. Lots of unique videos, very heavy on older stuff, and more obscure stuff.
They also have themed programming blocks, 80's at 8, the block (hip hop), big heavy music hour (rock), live from the road (concerts), dance videos friday and saturday night. There is no live talent yet, it's all server based right now.
The playlists can become more "focused" depending on a station's request.

It's music videos via free over the air TV!

My problem with Cool is the lack of a format. As stated, they are all over the place. I think viewers will not stick because most people don't have that wide of range of music tastes. Radio stations certainly can't operate with such a wide play list and be financially successful.
