When was Adam Cook at KRBE?

Today on Sirius, Bubba The Love Sponge was talking about the Clear Channel program director in Orlando that got arrested for attempting to meet up with a 14 year old girl he had been chatting on the internet with who ended up being an undercover officer. At one point, Bubba said he had worked for and had been fired by this Adam Cook before. He also mentioned that he flew to Houston to interview for a position at KRBE when Adam Cook was there. So I was just curious when that was. Could this have been before Sam Malone got hired, or maybe it was when a night job was open?

It was before Sam and Maria arrived but no telling what Bubba was interviewing for. Adam Cook was PD @ KRBE around 89 to 91. He was also the original jock on KRBE's "New Music Meeting" (later New Music Zone) before Ryan Chase took over the show.

If I remember correctly, the New Music Meeting was actually different from the New Music Zone.
I remember the New Music Meeting being an hour or so where they would introduce a new song from different categories of music (rock, rap, slow song, etc).
There was usually a group of students from a local high school brought in to introduce them.
