Does the posters have any Idea when 104.5 FM will change to a new format and what time? Any news on this?

No idea. Some people thought 9AM after Whoopi's show, but that didn't happen.

Noon? 5PM? Maybe not even today.

I'll be watching closely at noon.
 
she has used up all her material already! heard her using matetial from her old stand up comedy act. this is truly pathetic. nothing against Whoopi. clear channel is at fault. who came up with this idea?
 
Probably the same clowns that came up with David Lee Roth to do AM drive show in place of Howard--what a disaster that was! (Althought that idea was hatched from Infinity--owners of the 3 lowest rated stations in NYC--nuff said!)
 
they announced this morning on 104.5 to enjoy 106.1 all this week so not changing for the rest of the week it looks like which is a bummer i want a y100 type station on there
 
I too would love to see an alternative station, but that wouldn't be a smart business decision.

But, if a good sales staff and good alternative station is programmed in Philly, it could be a big success, ratings wise and $$$ wise!

But, I'm predicting Spanish Contemporary.

I'm not miserable either...I'm in Albany, NY with six local rock stations, three modern, and three classic. Sometimes
there are advantages to being in the sticks....
 
If they can make Alternative work in DC then they can make it work anywhere. Elliot in the morning is great so maybe a flip to alternative done the right way like DC 101 and a simulcast of Elliot is the way to go.
