when will either lite 105 or wwbe 101.5 make the switch to christmas music

Typically I hate celebrating holidays early with a passion. I've always said that Christmas is one day long. NOT TWO MONTHS! But the nation is in such a bad place this year that maybe some extra holiday cheer would be best. So I'm just going to go with it and not fight it this time. I'm sure that by November 15th you will have heard that first Christmas song somewhere.
 
Honestly....who cares? If this is what gets you all hot and bothered, I feel sorry for you....it's not like anyone that posts here has any control over this or anything else that people here bitch about....
 
It would appear that today, as of Noon, Coast 93.3 is playing Christmas music. The last non-Christmas song played was "I Don't Want to Be" by Gavin DeGraw at 11:58 AM.
 
umm no one of the liners says the new home for holiday music!!! so i doubt its just for the weekend.
 
I haven't been listening long enough, but I also noticed that I don't think they've been running ANY commercials. So I wonder if that means there will be a format change on December 26.
 
I heard a few commercials during Ryan seacracks show. Also heard an ad for whjj!!! Maybe b101 won't flip since there both clear channel no?? Maybe the reason y it said new home.. We shall see
 
Lots of floundering with Christmas music on Oxford over the last few years. It was always Coast that did it, then it went over to B101 for at least one year, then I think for a year no one did it, now Coast again. Maybe PPM coming to town caused them to rethink it for this year.
 
I think this could be really bad.....I heard a couple of comments by people out and about yesterday at lunch and the comments on Facebook are not pretty....SNE could be pissing off a ton of their listeners
 
They'll pick up some background listening in businesses. I've already heard it. And people may not be tuned in just waiting for Lite to switch, but it will have no long-term effect. It never has before.
