When Will ENERGY Return???

IMHO, Chicago NEEDS a Dance station. And maybe have one that mixes in SOME Dance-leaning CHR music (Dance remixes of popular Top 40/CHR songs by artists like Kelly Clarkson and such).Any new "Energy" station need look NO FURTHER than to Energy 98 on the 'net ( http://www.energy981.com ).They do the Energy format right. The only thing that needs to be put in on Friday & Saturday nights to such an "Energy" station are all-night mix-shows. These were the BEST part of the original Energy 92, and would work again with a new "Energy"!! :)DeanSB

I haven't been on this board in over a year, and I return to another "When will Energy be back in Chicago" thread.

Geesh...I'm just gonna move to SF. I listen live to their energy, I love it!

ENERGY 101

LOL....Oh man...not this again!

It would be funny if Joe Vlazny made some energy sweepers and had Q101 play them....I'd love to see the freak out from that.....like he did on Will Rock some time ago. 8)

I must say entertaining debate going on between David and Musiclover. I will say this about The Beat. It was a jammin' oldies format that needed to evolve; but, that probably would have meant hurting it's Urban AC sister station. I will add this - Did you know it's last month on the air (The Beat - December 2000) was one of it's highest monthly arb ratings during it's entire format history.

Just food for thought!

Oops! It seems my comments were on something that took place several pages / months ago. LOL

If you don't stop presenting facts to David he'll come out of his cubicle where he's done EVERYTHING except be PEZ head and school you with the world according to his reality.
