kool 1059 still do have no live djs will they change formats in 2008

you can always tell who doesn't really work in radio by the posts on this stupid board... do you think because a station has no live talent they will flip formats? Get a clue dude, go back to running your board, ok! You must be a board op with nothing else to do but post on this board!@

Just heard the new KQOL morning show today 11/12, I think it was their first show. There is also live talent on now in the PM drive, Scott Tom is the DJ name.

How much will KQOL take from K-HITS/CBS? THAT is the question, should be interesting. Meanwhile we've got two pretty decent Oldies stations in a battle here. Hey, these days that makes for more interesting than usual radio.

The Clear Channel station, KQOL is more produced and sounds hotter.

The CBS K-HITS has the best music programming, at least so far. K-Hits on-air presentation is sometimes rather MOR-ish, flat and spontaneity-free.

But, Clear Channel's KQOL is automated in mid-days, so far. I'd say K-HITS is trying harder but it seems KQOL is trying to pick it up a bit.

It's pretty back and forth between the two, really takes me back!
