When will Mainline change Fly 92.9's call letters?

I've been wondering this for awhile...When is Mainline going to change Fly's call letters, or are they? It doesn't make sense to keep Z-93's old WGTZ calls, since it is directly tied to the lineage of that station(We're Great Trails Z-93 was what it meant). I know that it takes awhile to change calls, but it has been two months plus now. I know that WFLY isn't an option, since Albany, NY's CHR Fly 92.3 already uses those calls. Maybe WWFL, WDFL(We're Dayton's FLy), or my personal favorite, WING-FM. 8)

I was wondering the same thing. It doesn't make much sense to keep the calls around unless they're not fully committed to the adult hits format and plan to flip it back to CHR if Fly turns out to be a flop.

Personally, I like Fly. It's definitely has more 70s & 80s pop than most adult hits stations...kind of like a vintage Z-93 (and WING) minus the personality.

WING-FM would definitely be fitting calls for the station. If Mainline wants to keep the WGTZ calls in house, they could always put them on 1410 and make 92.9 WING.

It seems to me that if you are calling your station Fly 92.9 the call letters WING would be the way to go. Also is it just me or is it weird that they still do not have a website up and running for the station. It has said the same thing for three months now. That's my two cents

If the calls are only used in the legal ID, it doesn't matter what they are. It's not even worth discussing call letters anynore.

Yeah, I"m with you OUUC. You'd even have to spot me a minute or two before I could tell you the call letters of the station I WORK for.

I was wondering the same thing about the website. I also noticed that in the top left of my screen when visiting fly929.com that it still says Z-93.
I don't know how telling this is, but in the 12+ Trends Fly got an even 3 share, down a tenth of a point AFTER the flip. It seemed most of the stations were down, even the almighty WMMX slipped an entire point.
On the calls...Why not just move the WGTZ calls to 102.9 and make it "Z103-Dayton's Hip Hop and R & B JamZ"? I doubt anyone would miss the WDHT calls very much.
Anyhow, Fly is a great station...I have liked it ever since they flipped. No complaints here. 8)
