When will Sirius XM have just one list of radios?

I understand Sirius XM will offer a la carte programming come September 15th. When will Sirius XM come out with a master list of radios? Will new radios have the Sirius XM logo on it? The last Sirius radio I purchased I got at Wal-Mart. I was in a rush and I made a stupid mistake. I picked out a radio. I asked the clerk if the radio I picked can be used in the car & at home. He told me it comes with all the items I need to play in the car and at home. I didn't take the time to read the box. Never again will I trust a Wal-Mart clerk for advice.

When I got home I noticed you could only use the radio in the car without buying add't stuff. I'm a sucker.

I got pissed off by the clerk and when I found out most of my calls to customer service get routed to places outside America. I know many companies these days use firms outside America to save money. It's a sore subject with me. Just look at the help wanted ads in the local newspapers. Compare the help wanted ads from 25 years ago to todays help wanted section. We've lost so many jobs to firms merging and outsourcing. I canceled my sub with Sirius several months ago.

But Uncle Mel got me hooked. He signed Chris Mad Dog Russo. I've got to hear my Mad Dog. I'll buy a new radio. I didn't like the other radio. I'm a sucker!
 
My assumption is once they release a combined company website, and perhaps after a merged channel line-up and compatible receivers are released. Again, just one man's opinion....
 
It'll probably happen early next year, right after CES, as they'll used that to announce the products. Programming is another story, as they're having to play ball with the feds. That means they'll be some channels will be set aside for "non-prof" broadcasting, though I think a good number of the channels from both services will either stay the same or merge with their counterparts, id like to see them bring over the "XM" names (Fred/Ethyl/Lucy) as they sound better than what sirius has at present (1st Wave/Alt Nation/Lithium).
 
Eventually I think they will get rid of XM in the name all together. They have to wait at least a year to do that. I don't know about the channels. That should be interesing

I thought Mad Dog was going to be on both XM and Sirius?

Anyway, one of the most valuable lessons one can learn is to never ever ever trust a Wal-Mart clerk - or any other clerk at an electronics store, for that matter.

I thought Mad Dog was going to be on both XM and Sirius?
