When will WEZW go all-Christmas?

They traditionally go all-Christmas in the middle of October. I can't wait to hear Christmas music before Halloween.

They were the first radio station in the country last year to go all-Christmas ..

I think it may be a day sooner, Thursday November 1st.

In several recent years, only about half a dozen stations went all-Christmas on November 1st.

Last year, that number doubled to about a dozen doing so that day.

This year, I expect that number to be four or five times that, or around 50 to 60 stations taking the plunge on November 1st, maybe even more.

I don't think there will be more all-Christmas stations this year than last, but I think most stations that do will flip much earlier than in the past.

I would not be surprised if the number of all-Christmas stations reaches a hundred by Election Day (November 6th).

WHY? They have a great playlist somewhat similar to WDUV-FM, which by the way is the number #1 rated station in Tampa Bay.

WZFI-FM, known as LIFT FM and located at the shore at 97.9 FM in Cape May will be adding some Christmas songs in November but they're not going all Christmas. They are however introducing special LIFT FM CHRISTMAS JINGLES, a first for this network.
