The Arlington State Senator, currently in the news for reasons that he'd rather not be, would be
perfect for Felon Radio 680. Possible theme songs/bumpers: "Keep Your Hands To Yourself", Georgia
Satellites; "Aqualung", Jethro Tull (sitting on a park bench, eying little girls with bad intents--tip of
cap to Howie C in his Herald column today)

Dan Kennedy also brought up Marzilli's comments from '03 about current 'RKO morning guy

That's surprising.

I thought for sure that we'd see the " 1. check into rehab, 2. declare that he has a disease, 3. emerge from rehab, 4. be embraced for his courage, and 5. be overwhelmingly re-elected" situation play out.

Jim, don't be hasty. That government job will pay off big in the long run, and those suckers, er sorry, voters, will forget all this very quickly. Cheer up!

Step one done. According to the papers, he's checked into Mclean Hospital in Belmont.

Yup. Stay tuned for step 2.
And it would be premature to think that step 5 is not possible, despite the statement that he won't be running for re-election.
