Where are Liddy and Hill?

Gone from the Jones Radio website and abruptly replaced by Bill O'Reilly on the website of newly cleared affiliate KJLL/Tucson (the Jolt's new lineup, rolled out 1/9, bumped O'Reilly off the station).

Hmmm...

Wow, they bombed even quicker than I imagined.

Terrible show.

Their own site is still up, and they're still prominently displayed on their flagship station's site (KKNT/Phoenix, Salem's "Patriot" talker). And they're still on the site of at least one affiliate, WFIR/Roanoke.

But KJCB's right...they have disappeared from Jones Radio's "Long Form Talk" listing.

They WERE on this page.

L&H were not the worst by any stretch of the imagination. There is such a glut right now of conservative-political shows, the bubble has to burst sometime...

Jones dropping shows...

Talking to another syndicator today, he said they are picking up another show Jones is dropping soon. Claims, with some bias of course, that affiliates are trying to figure out Jones' odd strategy. Outside of the Cox shows and the liberal talk, they're not doing much. Jones also recently dumped Beer Radio, which had just signed with them a year or so ago. JRN claims they no longer thing it can do well for them.

Look for the network to sell WFIR Neal Boortz fom 9-midnight soon.

Re: Jones dropping shows...

jones did not make the decision to drop. liddy and hill contacted jones and told them they no longer wanted to continue national syndication. they are staying on the network until mid-february.

Re: Jones dropping shows...

So they don't want a national show anymore and they moved from a station that had the highest ratings for news/talk in phoenix to one of the lowest rated stations. Smart move haha
