Mo Mellady (Radio Alice). On the eSurance.com ads with Jack Perry
Gretchen Lancour (Radio Alice). New mom...might do part time for KFRC
Perry Stone (KSJO )(way back)
Sue Hall (KFRC) About to start a new job in a few hours...listen for that announcement
Gene Nelson (KYA) Was in Hawaii for years, just recently moved back to SF

Sue Hall has been on the Wolf more recently, and now, according to rumors on this board, will be back doing middays on KFRC.

I worked with Trish Bell, if she ever shows up on this board, she could probably tell you what Perry Stone is up to these days.

Last I heard, Perry was a PD somewhere...Pretty amazing when you consider his image when he was here at KSJO...

I hear alex bennet is doing some sattelite radio show,
Lori was doing weekends at star 101 but is now nowhere to be found.
mo mellady is the female agent on the esurance ads... doing voiceovers for a living.
gretchen is the fill in morning traffic person @ live 105
as far as the rest , i have no idea.

If he did is it not time to bring him back to the radio dial? That would be great he could take over for Pete Wilson on KGO 810 AM from 2 to 4 PM weekdays! He would make a great replacement for Pete and could fill his shoes quite nicely on the radio! Any other ideas for a replacement for Pete? O. K. everyone time to chime in!

Boy, I'd sure like to hear Gene again...

The last time I heard him with any regularity was when he was at KYA. I miss Gene, am glad he's still with us, and love the idea of him replacing Pete Wilson on KGO (if he would only do it). I would DEFINITELY listen faithfully again! :) Come on Gene, your fans are clamoring...(well, ok, one of us is)

I don't know, I can't think of KYA without thinking of Gene Nelson...I can't think of Gene Nelson without thinking of KYA...the two are just synonymous to me for some reason. Maybe because he was there through the legendary years?

Does he live IN San Francisco, or just in the area somewhere? Just curious...

Sue Hall Is now back at KFRC doing mid-days, see the KFRC Video on the board as Mike Preston announces the promotion of Celeste and also brings Sue in the studio to annouce she will take over mid-days on KFRC.

Just heard from Trish, she says Perry Stone is in management for a Cumulus Cluster in North Carolina and doing afternoon drive for one of the stations.

Perry was my old partner... yes he is now managing a cluster of stations for Cumulus Corporation on the East Coast, he also does an afternoon drive show.
Those were the days of wild radio in the South Bay!

Doubt that there's any way Gene will return to doing a regular radio show at this point.

Gene Nelson was recently interviewed in Ben Fong Torres' 'Radio Waves' column in the 'Pink Section'(SF Chronicle Datebook). Unfortunately, he has no plans for a radio comeback, but the rest of the article sheds a little bit of light on what he's been up to since the mid-90s.

Hey, Newname, thanks SO much for posting that URL. It's nice to know he's doing well and doing what he wants, and now back here on the mainland with us. Appreciate it. :)
