Where are these jocks?

XL92 - Al Poneleit

XL92 - Shane Blue

XL92 - Rob the Weekend Guy

XL92 - DJ Taylor Ford

(They were all on during the late 90's or early 00's)
When XL92 was great. :)

Al is or at least last I knew with THE MILL 96.5 in Manchester (the former oldies station Saga owns).

Well I can help you with two of the jocks listed in theis post. Shane Blue went to the cape and now I hear he's working for a station in Boston. Tom Hoyt is working as a big shot for a bank in the Lebanon NH area.

Ted Bilodeau - Is production director at Galaxy in Syracuse and pulls a daily shift on Sunny 102. "Ted, Teddy B, the Tedder" is the one that took a chance on me and gave me the night slot on the Q back in 2000. Thanks Ted!

Scott Antonovich - on WKNE as Parker Springfield. Was instrumental in getting Oldies 104.3 off the ground back in 2000.

Guy Dark - Never was around for his tenure but I've spoken with him a few times before, last I knew he was PD of a mainstream rock station out in Packers country.

Norm Scot - Went to Burlington (WXXX/WVMT maybe?) Unsure on this one.

Dave Cooper - Coop! He returned to the Q during the short-lived Don Matsen era. Eventually became the Imus boardop, held that position for a year or two before getting out of the biz... last I knew he was working in medical billing and selling his own art.

Tom Hoyt - Business Development Officer for an Upper Valley Bank.

Bob Lipman - Bob's at WTPL in Concord, and when he's not there he's doing play-by-play for the New Hampshire Fisher Cats. Bob's truly one of the good guys in the biz.

Shane Blue is Jackson Blue, who does nights on Kiss 108. He grew up in South Burlington, VT.

Norm Scot was the promotions director at 95 Triple X, whom I worked with back in the day. He's now out of radio, and lives in suburban Montreal with his wife.

How about these guys:

Ted Bilodeau
Scott Antonovich
Guy Dark
Norm Scot
Dave Cooper
Tom Hoyt
Bob Lipman

Wow! It's nice to know someone still remembers the Q back when I was an employee too. (Of course, Coop would never let me on the air, so I left.) As far as Norm is concerned, I've lost contact with him. However, I don't believe he's in radio anymore, but living happily in Canada with the Mrs.

Someone mentioned Dave Ashton in another post... while I wasn't at 'HDQ during his tenure, I did have a chance to speak with him a few years ago, at that time he was program director of AC WFAS in Westchester County, NY.

Apparently he still is....just googled their website....afternoons/PD/Ops Director....bet HE doesn't get any sleep....
Nice to know he's stayed in the business. Too many of us old dinosaurs, uh, er, SEASONED radio professionals have flown the coop.

Have a groovy day....
