Where Are They Now?

Here is the ever-so-popular "Where Are They Now?" thread:

Jennifer Ward (KYW in the 90s)
Bruce Hamilton (KYW in the 90s)
Deborah Knapp (WCAU in the 80s)
Steve Bell (ABC Network then KYW in the late 80s and/or early 90s)
Alan Frio (WCAU in the 80s, I believe)
Terry Merryman (KYW in the 80s, I believe)
Chris Wagner (WPVI in the 80s)
Lee McCarthy (the first WTAF/WTXF anchor)

Are there any other anchors and/or reporters you can add to the list and/or any information on the ones I have listed?

Last I heard,

Jennifer Ward went back to Toronto.
Steve Bell is teaching at Ball State in Indiana (alma mater of David Letterman).

Mort Crimm is still in Detroit, "retired" as anchor but still doing commentaries for local TV and radio syndication.

John Bolaris is at CBS2, New York predicting storms of the 21 century.

Didn't Deborah Knapp move to Texas and marry a Congressman?

A few years ago Chris Wagner was a spokeswoman for Conrail.

I think Alan Frio and Terry Merryman got married...and wound up anchoring together at a station in Nashville, TN. I'm not sure if this is the case today however.

LAST I HEARD, ALAN FRIO WAS ANCHORING IN SAN DIEGO AND I DON'T THINK HE MARRIED TERRY MERRYMAN WHO WAS A ONE TIME MARRIED TO ACTION NEWS REPORTER JEFF BARNES OR BARNE, THE BEST PART ABOUT THIS THREAD IS ONLY ONE WPVI ANCHOR IS MENTIONED. WHAT HAPPENED TO DAVE PATTERSON (KYW), JOAN DINERSTEIN (WCAU) AND MIKE TUCK (WCAU)

Coops: thanks for addinng those other names to the list. I didn't consider those names, because I never knew who they were! Me just contributing one WPVI alum doesn't mean I have something against Channel 6. That name was the only one that came to mind right away.

I could have sworn I read somewhere that Alan Frio and Terry Merryman did "tie the knot" but I could be wrong!

All I know about Alan Frio is that he was the original host of the old tabloid show "Hard Copy." It was essentially a Current Affair rip-off.

Beverly Williams is alive and well, and still on Ch 3. She has a program on every Sunday morning at 8:30.

Alan and Terri are married and co-anchoring weekends at WSMV in Nashville. They're hands down the best anchors that station has.

I thought she sued the station and was fired or something.

I think you are correct as far as the lawsuit is concerned, but part of the settlement was to give her a show of her own, IF memory serves me right. The suit was either age or gender discrimination, not racial, and she is on the air on Sundays. I'm certain someone will correct me if I'm wrong!!
