Where Are They Now???

Anybody recall the name Jim Aylward?? He was on the OLD WRFM 105.1 back in the 70's/early 80's in its' Bonneville Easy Listening days.
He was the morning drive announcer. A very relaxed, laid back guy. Had the "Aylward NoteBook" and "Music and Notes". Just wondering if he is still with us, possibly retired somewhere warm? I found an old cassette with some WRFM music and his commentaries while I was cleaning out a box of cassettes and reels. Amazing some of the old air-checks and music I have found from the 70s of NYC and New England stations. And anybody what know whereabouts of Ken Lamb? He was with WRFM and WPAT also back in 70's. He even gave me a tour of WRFM one Sunday night back in 1974, while I was a Coastie stationed on Governor's Island. He helped get my radio-juices going!! A real nice guy.

Just wondering...

Ken Lamb is now with ABC-TV. You can hear him at the 1st commercial break on General Hospital, "General Hospital on ABC Daytime. Brought to you by ..."
also reads the same type liners on Jimmy Kimmel Live, and on other ABC produced shows.

From my WRFM post, above:

For some reason, when you say "Ken Lamb," the back of my head says, "network radio news." Don't know why. I saw an e-mail address for him, but I'm not sure if it's current: kenlamb@webtv. (whatever webtv is -- com, net?)
______________
Use "Radio-Info" in e-mail subject line.

Thanks for the info!! It's webtv.net that's what I still use on here!

Thanks for the info...not being a fan of "sudsers" I haven't had a chance to hear him on General Hospital, but will keep an ear open on other ABC Shows.

Not too sure about Jim or Ken but I do know that Joe Roberts (last name: Caputo) (WRFM, WBIC, WGSM) is still with us!

I remember him too on WRFM...even after 40 years ~

Jim Aylward whereabouts

As of 2001 he moved to Florida and writes a column for the Tampa Bay Times. The last thing I found online for him was in 2009. Beyond that I don't know. I too am wondering what became of some of these old time djs we all heard in our youth.
