Anybody recall the name Jim Aylward?? He was on the OLD WRFM 105.1 back in the 70's/early 80's in its' Bonneville Easy Listening days.
He was the morning drive announcer. A very relaxed, laid back guy. Had the "Aylward NoteBook" and "Music and Notes". Just wondering if he is still with us, possibly retired somewhere warm? I found an old cassette with some WRFM music and his commentaries while I was cleaning out a box of cassettes and reels. Amazing some of the old air-checks and music I have found from the 70s of NYC and New England stations. And anybody what know whereabouts of Ken Lamb? He was with WRFM and WPAT also back in 70's. He even gave me a tour of WRFM one Sunday night back in 1974, while I was a Coastie stationed on Governor's Island. He helped get my radio-juices going!! A real nice guy.
Just wondering...
