I sorry, no actually, I'm not sorry, but I've not been able to listen to KOOL since they fired Bill. I think it's a terrible thing they have done to the loyal listeners and to Bill. If you go to the KOOL website and go to Contact Us you can send a message to a 'group'. I sent a message to the program director saying I was upset they fired Bill and that they lost a listener. I did not expect a reply and didn't get one. Also, google Bill Gardner KOOL and you will find his home page. He's got airchecks and interviews. One of the airchecks is of his last show on KOOL. Because I was a very early morning listener I missed most of his interviews so it was nice to listen to some of them. I can't wait to find out where Bill goes and, hopefully they will either be local or have web streaming.

Yes!! I just found his website maybe a week or two ago! He's got a treasure-trove of fantastic interviews! The airchecks are great too!
You know, you're one of many that I know who won't listen to KOOL anymore after this. I just wonder what the ratings are going to be... this Feb. 7th B.S. will be a big "Whoops, what were we thinking??" in the end. Maybe they should have thought of OTHER ways to stay in budget without firing someone who any station would be extremely thankful to have, one who sets the mold for others, and one who REALLY knows how to start listeners' days off right!
