Heard the end of the Chix show and everyone was wishing BL good luck. What happened and what will happen to the show?

First BL leaves and The Babe is back; the earth is falling off of its axis.

I didn't like her recent radio stuff, but I always liked her personality. I first listened to her in 1994 back around the time she flipped the Hooters van in Oldsmar and lost her pinky finger (complete with interviews from her in her hospital bed high on morphine!). Good times.

I do know that Heather is headed off to Texas..I was listening to Lynn & Leslie Lacey (you know the girl that does news (or did news at some other AM station) I called 1010 4-16,The Dumb@ss that picked up the phone ( with a mouth full of food) was a big help.

How about letting the listeners know what happened to the talent that people care about?
I got the same kind of play stupid answers from the FM side of QYK when I asked what happened to Skip.Les & Braden and you to CowHead!
Without this board we would never know.
 
from someone that works in the building with the Chix (sales) i feel like i must clarify what really happened...BL was a big issue in the CBS building...she was always causing drama...she decided to leave and gave 48 hours of notice going throught the whole building proclaiming I QUIT...very professional of her...so the Chix did mention it Thursday and Friday but had no notice to do anything else...as for LUCAS that pretty funny about the food thing...but everyone seemed happy to not have the drama anymore.

8 years ago, I sat thru a disgusting luncheon as a northern regional V.P. talked to the group and ate at the same time. (CC people know the name) How the hell do you get to that position in life without learning some manners? :-\

BTW, the northerner was in a hurry to join his wife & kids on the beach. He was only at the luncheon so he could write the whole damn trip off.

Would you talk to your clients on the phone that way?
Every listener that calls a show is a client.
Nothing funny about a lazy dumb@ss who thinks that stuffing his face is more important than doing a good job representing the station or show he works for.
Do you think any decent show anywhere would put up with that crap?
 
OK first of all if radio people are so freaking concerned about their board ops...then pay them more than 8 bucks an hour...you get what you pay for in this industry...its pathetic.

not that someone answering the phone while eating is excusable, but you are of course 100% correct, hell, its why I got out...

I think it's funny that you put some Intern in that gig and they kick the crap out of the paid BO until they start getting paid.
So I don’t think it’s the money I think it’s the complacency or boredom.
 
Once again you all managed to stray off topic.....But just to add my two cents to this, Lucas it the best board op CBS Radio Has.....Chances are good it was wasn't lucus you heard screening the calls it was one of the wannabe's from peppers promotions department!
.....Now back to the topic at hand, there were reports from the Ocala National forest that they saw Love Tiger and BL Tip toeing thru the tulps...(cue the Tiny Tim Song) It was reported the that LT had a fist full of rubbers! As for BL....she was complaining that CBS didn't give the "Nub" a early retirement plan!
