Where did everybody go?

The old board was a great resource and source of entertainment with several posts a day. What has happened?

:-[Great Question, wish I knew! I used to look forward to reading the Houston Board every day because there were always at the least several very good stories, lots of information and just some good natured conversation. Seems like so many have left for somewhere else. Even when a topic is posted many will read, but few bother to respond any longer.I realize that nothing of great importance has happened lately, or at least not at the rate that things were changing in the Houston Radio-TV scene. I still don't understand the huge drop-off of the many great people we had contributing to this Board, which made it, like Houston, the best. Luckily we still have some of the greats still here contributing, I won't name names for fear of forgetting some one and I do not want to slight anyone. This Board was very fortunate as nearly everyone had something of significance to contribute and there were not any hostilities between those on the Board. A real rarity!Hope we get an answer.Mike O

Radio-info is a great place and they should not be paranoid about the free enterprise system and delete mention of the "other" board. It's called: (edited-the other "board" is not allowed to be advertised on Radio-Info. See thread in Ask Radio-Info for explanation).Apparently, radio-info replaces the "other" board name with its name if posted here. That is not right! Come on! Radio-info, relax a bit! That gives this place the creeps when you replace words. I like this place but some of the things you do is not cool!

After the relaunch of the site, some people have had difficulty logging in to use their accounts. We are working with everyone who asks to help get them logged in properly (the only way we will know you are having trouble is if you tell us). In time you will see most of the people back and posting. If you have any questions feel free to use the "Contact Us" link at the top of the page. Also, for those reading but still exeriencing log in issues, also please use the "Contact Us" link and we will help you out! We apologize for the snafu that has made it difficult for some....growing pains are to be expected. I assumed your nickname "a & m king" meant something like King of A.M. radio, i.e., morning radio.

Mr. Chuck Tiller;I've been in Niagara Falls since May 15th and won't be back to Houston until June the 20th. Still want to have lunch with you, I have not been checking my email very often. Hope we are still on. Unless I try going over the Falls in an inner tube or something equally stupid, and there is a good chance I would pull an idiot stunt like that.At least both the American and Canadian sides of NF have gambling with the one armed bandits, Black Jack, etc. Lunch may have to be olive-loaf and stale bread in the park if I don't do better than so far.Mike
