Where did the Philly stations go in the Spring book?

No one out of market (Philly or B-more) showed in the spring book. With an 18.8 share of the market Black, where are the Urban stations?

With Arbitron ONLY showing the numbers for stations that buy their rating service, it makes the Wilmington market numbers look very small. All you need to do is scan down and see earlier ratings and you'll see that WDAS-FM probably is in the top 3. All those listeners didn't fall off the face of the planet, or moved away from Wilmington, those Philly stations don't subscribe to the Wilmington book so their numbers don't get reported. Let's face it, none of those Philly station's really base their programming on reaching Wilmington listeners when they have the entire Philly/South Jersey going for them. This is one market where Arbtron's numbers now will be pretty meaningless as those Philly stations DO compete with the Wilmington stations.

I agree with you Mike. This book is meaningless without the Philly and Baltimore numbers.

Only 1 Philly station opening courts Delaware listeners. "ALL NEWS, ALL THE TIME...serving Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware."
