Where did the WGXL XL 92.3 stream go?

Anyone know what happened to the XL 92 stream? It's gone! I even tweaked the url:

But it gives me a message that the file cannot be opened. What gives? Dumb move WGXL! I am way out of the listening area and have never even been to the New England area so this is not fair. Why stream if you discontinue it later? What happened? Now I'm stuck trying to listen through the request line!

CC pulled the plug on the stream after the sale was closed. From what I hear UVR is going to re-connect ----- some day. :-\

Guess all the upper valley radio station web feeds are down, and have been for a spell now. My big girlfriend at cc and I were wonderin' if it was part of the sale or is it the cost of streamin' royalties that shut em off. ??? You know I can't image the ol' tight pockets of Vox wantin' to spend for that, after all do any of their listeners own computers?? ;D Just a thought.

Huh. I stopped listening to radio in the Upper Valley after I got Sirius. I drive from Boston to visit Burlington every month, so I suppose I should scan the dial next time I pass through.

I really wish people would stop referring to Jeff and Co. as Vox. Vox remains to be a company running stations mostly around Florida.

Although Jeff may have been a (or the) key player in Vox, the correct company name is Great Eastern Broadcasting. (At least, last time I checked.)

Then again, I may be wrong there. It's been awhile since I've been on these boards, so if I'm wrong, by all means correct me. ;D
