Where do I get newsfeeds, etc

Hi!

I'm looking at putting a dark station back on the air. The station has NO satellite news, so where do I begin to contact National and STATE news agencies to provide a dish and a feed for me?

Thanks a lot!

You could start with the Associated Press:

Another starting point may be your state's broadcasters association. A list of websites for various state broadcasters associations can be found at:

Good luck to you.

Well, there are all sorts of national networks and anyone I've ever worked with does a "newscall" or "newsfeed" for affiliates. There are also state networks. The company I work for has one(well, the last station I worked for also had a statewide network). It does a newsfeed of news cuts as well as a newscast every hour in the daytime. What state are you in?

I'm in Georgia, but I'm looking at stations in TN and AL as well.

Thanks a lot!

Well, The Georgia News Network operates out of WGST Atlanta if you want to contact them.
