Where Do We Find Such Great Men and Women?

Memorial Day. It's reassuring to hear a number of Buffalo stations actually make note of what this day and weekend are really all about. It's certainly not about furniture store sales, all you can drink parties on the lake and car dealers' lowball bargains.Compliments to the radio stations and air personalities who took the time to mention the purpose and meaning of Memorial Day: The sacrifice made by men and women who answered the call to duty and unselfishly gave of themselves. To those men and women, we owe an incalculable debt of gratitude._________________________________________________This post should not be construed a political statement and I would hope the moderators don't move it to "Off Topic."[/Mike]

Yes, and to honour Memorial day, Toronto Canada has shut all transit service down...ok, ok, it's a labour dispute, but I'm having fun declaring a holiday from the Canadian side for the first time ever! ;D ;)Link: http://www.thestar.com/NASApp/cs/Co...940&call_pageid=968332188492&col=968793972154
