Where do you listen to the Phillies?

WEEU, if you live in Reading?
WDEL, if you live in northern Delaware?
Or WPHT 162 games a year?

You get the idea.

Me, I hopscotch between the above three.

WKAP 1470 in the LV. The only drawback is Craig Stevens doing the liners and the spots. Man, is he awful!

The day before the real season started, there was a broadcast of the last preseason game against the Red Sox. I took a drive out to Ehprata from Blue Bell. 1210 never got totally unlistenable, but when it did, I scanned the dial and found the game on 1420 WCOJ. It wasn't on 830 WEEU but that was probably because it was preseason.

At home, I will generally go with 1210, but occasionaly 1440 WNPV if they're not running Nascar. WEEU is still a third choice, and I relied on 830 more when 950 was the flagship.

The 950 signal was much worse in Blue Bell when they were the flagship station for Phils baseball. It would help WPEN out greatly if they could get those rights back, giing the station some more credibility.

I can never remember their shore affiliates - but I generally just scan the dial while relaxing on the Sea Isle beach on a summer Sunday afternoon and lock it in once I hear Scott Graham or (if it's the fourth inning) Harry the K.

Aren't Friday night games "sublet" to WIP?
Or was that just last season?

WDEL.

Also, since I love baseball on the radio, this time of year is great. There are frequent day games and I enjoy hearing the Mets on WFAN and the Yankees on WCBS-AM.

In a few of the posts, people say specifically that LISTEN on a certain station. On most, people just list one or more stations which carry the games (and have not been mentioned so far). One even mentions a station which does not carry the games but gets a lot of attention from a few "fans" on this board. All this leads me to suspect that few people listen to Phillies games on the radio - except Julius, who says he likes to listen to listen to radio play by play as he watches the games on TV.Stations carry games because they can make money from them. But why would anybody want to listen given the pathetic quality of the current announcing teams - who don't seem to understand that on radio people can't see the game and actual descriptions are more important than ex-jocks sharing their "expertise" and "memories."The only play by play announcer who is worth a ______ is Vin Scully. When he retires, baseball on radio will be dead (but stations will probably continue to carry it).
