While MJ is retiring to the AM dial (in a move that shouldn't shock anyone) and replaced with Kane (another move that shouldn't shock anyone), what happens to Hurricane, Froggy, Fester and Merideth?
I haven't listened to MJ regularly in a while, so I don't know their involvement with the show but are all these people going to be unemployed on 2/18?
I can't see Fester continuing on in the business because he's a successful business man himself with some franchises, does he still sell his BBQ sauce?
Hurricane did a lot of the web stuff didn't he? Will CC move him to an online role?
Froggy is from Tampa right? His wife works for CC too, would he move to a new market? I know he got axed from XTB back in the day, maybe he can produce Ron & Ian's show on WDAE (Where'd Justin Pawlowski go BTW?)?
Merideth has the best shot IMO of landing a gig at another station (Could her and Phoebe coexist on Hot?), or staying on as a local producer for Kane. She's less expensive than any of the other three and seems to be an easy sales tool for the station who's only other female voice is the midday girl.
Don't want to see anyone lose their job, but I guess the ride had to end at some point for his crew. Hopefully their PD is helping them line up other gigs.
One of FLZ's DJs (one the 1s and 2s) used to produce Kane's PM Drive Show and I believe still does some stuff with Kane in DC (Friday mashups or something). Would they move him to the AM slot to run the board and answer calls?
