Where has Bill Hartman gone?

I was reading Rodney Ho's blog and see that WSB-TV has a new weekend sports anchor (Zach Kleing) joining the team and that Bill Hartman is out. Anyone know what happened?

I was told Hartman retired, but I don't know for sure if that's the case. It's just what I've heard.

He told me he is leaving in August after 35 years in Atlanta tv. His call, not the station's. Didnt want to work weekends anymore.

Why don't they give Mark Arum the shot? He did a bang up job filling in. He would be perfect to take the weekend slot.

Bill Hartman began at WAGA in 1970, and moved to WSB-TV in 1995. I believe only John Pruitt has been in the market longer (WSB-TV 1966-1976 save one year of military service, WXIA 1976-1993, WSB-TV 1994-present). Amazing that Bill Hartman will be retiring before John Pruitt.

I see Zach Klein will come via Cox sister station WFTV-TV in Orlando where he is doing weekend sports anchoring.
