Where has Chris Baker gone??

Where the heck is Chris? I gather he is broadcasting his morning show in Minneapolis, but has been AWOL here for days! He is still on the 950.com as being on the air. What's up???

i am wondering the same thing. did he move? is he still on the website because they are trying to work something out where he still does his show? i would much rather listen to him than Dennis Miller. he is so damn boring to me.

Yeah, I've asked the station (crickets chirping) and Chris. He says he CAN NOT discuss it right now. Kind of like more crickets chirping. ???

Hmmm. Sounds like Chris might be working a deal or there might be a some programming changes on the way. I mention programming after hearing Savage one day at 1pm and Dennis Miller the next day. That lack of consistency makes me wonder.

Think Kendromedia knows something we don't know?

"Mojo" really hasn't done much in the ratings, and their cume is rather low, hovering around 225k. I wonder how good it bills? Has anyone else noticed more and more filler music on KPRC, specifically at night. I've caught them playing a classic rock track about once an hour for at least the last 2 months. Not good if that's to cover the lack of ad sales for the station.

Sorry but I don't have anything useful about Mr. Baker but will ask around.

Quick question since I have unfairly stolen everyone's attention:
Where in Houston would I turn to hear Death Cab for Cutie, Muse and The Postal Service on any manner of rotation?

I'm guessing 103.7 is your best bet.

WOW!! What a business to be in! Now Chris is gone from KTLK too. The fans are yelling for answers. No surprise, silence is all to be had. I love talk radio, but have a really hard time understanding the management decisions. The photo business is tough, but radio seems even tougher!

Rumor is that he's going back to KCMO 710 in Kansas City to host mornings. He did afternoons there 10 years ago.

Yep. He's Baaaack. Chris starts Monday on KSEV in the afternoons. Great news for Bakers fans. He's a Texan, no wonder he wanted to exit the frozen tundra and return home. :D

So the Kansas City deal didn't work out?
