They still exist in some places. I wish WKSC would get a new package though.
I'm with you all the way. Stations don't seem to do (or spend) as much on imaging as they used to, and I miss the variety of jingles you used to hear. It's all about the "big voice guy" (or mediocre voice guy, if the station makes a bad choice) and a few laser sound effects. That's not necessarily a bad thing, but it's overdone these days. Over the years, WLS and Z95 come to my mind as stations that had some of the better jingles in Chicago. Even WBBM/780's jingle package still sticks in my head.leothelion1960 said:
