To be honest, I have not heard any of the songs you had listed (shame on me). But that doesn't mean it shouldn't be played on the radio. Flip one of the underperforming CHR or AC stations to alternative rock.

Your own CD collection. Sorry, but a lot of these songs will make the average listener tune away.......or is that what you want?

Not entirely my own, and definitely not entirely from CD - there are other former FM106.3 jocks who've contributed.

That said, isn't radio where it is today because it's looking for the average listener? You're right; I'm shooting a bit higher.

Are you done self-promoting yet? The enthusiasm is great, and you are clearly trying to make a name for yourself/your station, and I will say, your playlist is cool...but why so much??

I think we all get it. Alt rok. and something else is coming. okay then.

Not trying to offend, it's just a bit much. If you don't have the big announcement of what this wonderful new thing is for alt music, maybe calm down so you don't overhype it.

There's a compliment in there - so thanks for that. But I wouldn't call a single thread (with, admittedly, multiple messages) a saturation strategy...

I wouldn't even call it a wonderful thing for alt music - the music's there whether I'm here or not. But it'll be nice to be able to *hear* it...
