96.1 Charleston seemed to be off air (or very low power) since Sunday. They usually come in loud and clear in Beaufort County and I've just been getting static. With the type of ratings they're getting, there has to be a darned good reason why they're off the air...

Any ideas? Were they testing 96.1 in Myrtle Beach?

I am in Georgetown County and it is very static-y here also. It was coming in loud and clear until yesterday.

I know there is a Construction Permit for a 96.1 to be built in Forestbrook SC, which is only a few miles south west of Myrtle Beach. I just tried 96.1 on the stereo and cannot hear anything except noise.

I'm in Charleston and they're crystal clear right now. I didn't notice anything the last 2 days unless it was at a certain time of day/night.
