Anyone know where Dougie "haaahaaa....phooey" Edwards from WCGY 93.7 Lawrence, Ma is now? I remember listening to him in the late 70's or early 80's spinning oldies.

After WCGY changed from the oldies format to a rock/AC in the mid 80's, then from the late 80's to early 90's Dougie was one of a handful of rotating hosts on the old Saturday afternoon "Rock'n'Roll Memory Time" vintage oldies show on MIT's non-commercial volunteer college/community station WMBR 88.1 Cambridge. I was doing my old psychedelic 60's show "Lost & Found" there at the time, and ran into him often.

After WMBR cancelled "Rock'n'Roll Memory Time" in the early 90's (after a thirty year run!), some of the hosts, including Dougie, moved to an oldies show that used to air late Saturday nights on WJIB 740 AM Cambridge for a few years.

I don't know of Dougie being on the air since then, and I don't think he's still in radio. I know people I could ask about him who are in touch with him.
