Where Is Gregg (The Gronk) Hersholdt?

Hersholdt has been off the air since a week ago Monday. Manda keeps saying he's "off" today. And tomorrow. And the next day. Has he been suspended?

Speaking of missing, where is everyone else who used to be on the old boards for SEA-TAC? This place is really dead.
 
There's only so much DX reports and radio history threads people can handle.

As for Hersholt, contact him on social media, he's pretty active on both Facebook and Twitter.
 
Gregg is on this week. He was off last week with Manda covering the shift.
Two or three weeks ago Manda had the week off with Gregg covering the shift.

I think this is a cost cutting move. Everyone here should know Sinclair doesn't do radio.
 
Yeah, word is on the street that they hate each other. Today Gregg was on, but Manda was "off." They just don't like working together.

Gregg supposedly didn't get along with Jane Shannon when they were both at KIRO ... There was a marked improvement in the quality of the morning news with either Gregg or Jane was off and a substitute host was in place.

One of the worst features of this iteration of KOMO is that with the cutbacks in the reporter ranks, there's no one that can fill in on either AM or PM drive if an anchor is on vacation or otherwise "off." I think I went six weeks this summer without hearing Jane and Tom on the afternoon news together. Really quite disappointing.
 
Sorry, but must disagree with you. Gregg is a mean newsroom bully. Always has been. I've witnessed it for years. And today, he was on, Manda was off. When Manda is on, he's "off."
 
BTW, Gregg has been "on" all this week, Manda has been "off" the entire week. And more. You can hear the disdain in Gregg's voice when he says that she has "the morning off" or is "off today." Now we'll see next week if she's back and Gregg is "off." Something is afoot here.
 
Could it be that her father just passed away? Why are you trying to stir up garbage?
