Where is J C McCoy?

John Kiesewetter of the Enquirer reports that he was dumped after only 2 weeks on the air and was told it was a corporate decision. McCoy remarked that he was stunned that this came from a company called CHRISTIAN Broadcasting System LTD. and that they would not tell him why. With people losing jobs left and right today, doesnt a guy deserve to at least know why? I could say more, as usual, but Puff is a nice dragon.

Maybe he was not given a chance to be the sidekick to Andy but I did not think the partnership was clicking.
I listened last night and thought the producer and new sidekick added to the show and brought more energy out of Andy.
I do not know who the sidekick was...something G???....maybe someone can tell me about him.
Andy made no explanations about JC or the new guys, which I guess is how it can work.

I've heard from a very relaible source that JC was trying to sell advertisement to some two-bit company via email (that's pretty much the only kind you can sell when you're selling for a two-bit station), and the guy flat out lied to him, so he called him on it. The worst thing he said was that he'd have to find a way to survive without winning his business. This clown then apparently complained to Jon Yinger, crying that JC was rude to him, and without discussion or any question, JC was fired, and wasn't even given the common courtesy of being told why he was fired!
JC has much too much professionalism to come post on a blog like this, but apparently Jon Yinger does not (see jry above), not only posting, but saying that the employee you just unjustly fired should "keep his mouth shut"? WTF?? How does someone that unprofessional become president of a broadcasting company?
In my opinion, JC is much better off away from this joke of a company, he'll land firm on his feet, and you'll hear from him soon. He'll be around much longer than this farce of a company and station.

I had given JRY a good luck when he launched the Furman Show, even with that 1160 low power signal, now not so sure.
From what I have read here and talking with an insider ? at WQRT Florence, Kentucky , JC is going to be better off far away from JRY, his
own people are not trusting of him, without giving JC the benefit of doubt, and asking him his side of the story.

I think a more productive discussion for fans is about how to improve the on air performance of the new Furman Factor team.

Thinking about this post last night, this comment may have come off a bit harsh.
A poster named kermit sanderson mentioned about Jon Y's sister station WCVX being "anti-catholic" I did see the post and now it is gone wow, Did Mr. Y get that removed? Anyhow, related to the Furman Factor I know people who work there and YES, J C was let go because of the potential client. I also know who the client is and they do not buy anything but CC in this market...so it looks like some people jumped the gun. I have no bone in this either. This WQRT thing is bad radio all the way around...Furball get your sound checks and move on. I'm sure you can do better.
