Where is Joel Aaron???

I was shocked to hear Denny Shafer's Sound Bite today - no offense to Denny, enjoyed him when he was on WGST, but Joel's contribution is superior. Anyone know what's going on? Thanks for your input.

He last had a show called Mornings in Atlanta on WGKA, but it aired from 4:30am to 6am on the weekdays! Who would have listened to it? Why didn't WGKA air it for all of morning drive instead of boring old Bill Bennett. If Salem can do it in Chicago with WIND why not here?

According to WGKA, Joel Aaron accepted a position with Americans for Prosperity as their Georgia Grassroots coordinator.

Any idea what Americans for Prosperity is? At first it sounds like a place buying foreclosed homes but it's got to be
some political group. Are they the ones doing these disruptive Tea Parties? Sounds like he gave up on radio.

Boring old Bill Bennett??? Thank goodness you can choose from other morning alternatives. Bill Bennett has a country full of loyal listeners, myself included.

I found a note from Joel, whose actual last name, it turns out, is Foster...and will only add the Tea Parties seem to be disruptive only to those on the left who can't handle it when the right uses their play book.

A Note from Joel Foster, AFPGA Grassroots Coordinator

Dear AFP Member -

Are you tired of out-of-control government tax and spend policies? Are you marching in the streets at tea parties, and raising your voices at town halls? Are you ready to get involved for real change to limit the federal government, promote personal responsibility and return to our Constitutional roots? If that’s you, we need your help!

My name is Joel Aaron Foster. As the new Georgia Grassroots Coordinator for AFPGA, I’d like to introduce myself as your partner and resource in the cause of defending liberty in our local cities, counties and at the state and federal levels. If you live in Atlanta, you may have heard me on talk radio over the past few years or as a speaker and emcee at tea parties over the past few months alongside many friends from several organizations who are standing strong for the cause of freedom.

Joel Foster, AFP-Georgia

Like you, I’m very concerned about the direction our nation is headed. I am also optimistic that America’s best days are ahead as we take back our rights and obligations as American citizens.

In the next few months, AFPGA will be working to resource existing county chapters all over Georgia and establish new groups. We will continue our state-wide Next Step Training series to inspire, empower and commission new citizen advocates for entrepreneurship and fiscal and regulatory restraint. We will work to establish, support and further a collaborative relationship with other coalition groups around Georgia who champion these same goals. We will be in the local community to help organize events and support you in your efforts.

If you are interested in learning more about organizing an AFP chapter, Next Step Training, rally or other function in your area, please do not hesitate to call me at 678-910-3101 or email [email protected]. I am honored to be working alongside you, and I look forward to meeting many of you at trainings, rallies and other events in the month’s ahead. As always, stay focused!

Yours in Liberty,

Joel Aaron Foster

well, my positive side says joel aaron was good for the station as its editorial voice, but if you will allow me to be the slightest bit negative - his morning show at 4:30 was pretty hideously awful. I know that's just my opinion, but his forte was those sound bites that 920 seems to have good luck with these days.

I enjoyed the listener panels, Mr. Positive! Of course, it was a ghastly hour, and I always wondered where he found the participants who were able to converse far more eloquently at that hour than I was capable of thinking! I think he's found a natural successor and I'm certain we'll hear him again, possibly even see him in front of a camera in the future...he's a smart guy, he's our future.

c'mon trilogy. . . . shuddn't that have three. . . count 'em three parts.

what up yo!!
