Where is Packman?

Admitedly, I don't listen to a lot of Sports Talk radio, but I just discovered that Packman is no longer carried on the Triad Sports Network. Whas up wid dat???!!! Packman has been incredibly popular in our area with sports-talk listeners. Was he too expensive? :-\
 
Packman didn't re-sign a contract with WFNZ a few months ago.
Word has it that he's working on self-syndicating (to the six or so stations that carried him, I guess), finding office space in Charlotte, and planning to come back in the spring when his six-month non-compete runs out.
Last I heard, WFNZ was running guest hosts during his spot [somebody said there's been Arnie Spanier and a few others], 790The Ball has gone Spanish, Pirate Radio 930/1230 was running ESPN Radio, and I guess Triad Sports is doing whatever you heard them doing (I haven't been up that way since he went off the air). Where else was he on?

edit: 1200/1230/1320 is running Taylor Zarzour & Marc James, now that I see the website thread there. ;D
 
What was formerly "Primetime with the Packman" is now known as "The Drive" with Taylor Zarzour and Marc James; it is also carried in the Triangle on 620 The Buzz.
