WHERE IS PHIL MUSIK THESE DAYS?

where is former wtae radio talker phil musik these days?

I was going through some microfilm the other day and read some Steelers game stories from 1972 and 1974- Musick doing the 1974.

Musick really took Steelers reporting to a new level.

His stories would feature game strategy and such- really getting down to the nitty gritty explaining how the Steelers beat the Oakland Raiders with their "Cover Four" defense. This stuff hadn't been seen before in Steelers coverage to my knowledge.

This sort of "pulse of what is going on" continued when he was hosting his talk show. I always thought he had the best grasp of what was going on in City Hall and such.

His work is missed as far as I'm concerned.

thanks for the update. he's a very good writer and his show on wtae grew on me. i actually read some of the books he reviewed weekly. wish he'd pop up somewhere. p.s. your on the money with his football writing.
